Version 0.9 released.5 Sept 2004

A new version, and complete rewrite. Web reports are now generated via a CGI script, which is far faster and less space intensive than the old method.

Durep

durep creates disk usage reports with bar graphs, allowing one to easily deduce which directories are using the most space. Although durep can produce text output similar to du, its real power lies in the ability to store reports in a file, which can then be viewed as a web page with the supplied cgi script.

An example web report can be seen here (PNG image). Example text output is here.

RPM's kindly supplied by David O'Callaghan. David informs me that Redhat does not ship the MLDBM package that durep needs, but it is available at http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/perl-MLDBM/. The above RPM's don't include the CGI script.
